Find out how much the compensation for your pain and discomfort is worth.

This is one of the most popular questions asked by people who have suffered whiplash and are looking to claim. There are many factors that determine this but our calculator should help you gain a reasonably close figure. Remember there is no harm in making an enquiry with us even if you are unsure to how much the award will be as all enquiries are considered informal and without obligation!

So what are the main factors which determine how much my claim will be worth?

The most important factors in determining the amount of compensation are physical suffering and emotional suffering. Physical suffering is the pain endured while recovering from your injuries measured by the amount of time required for these injuries to heal. Emotional pain such as depression is an additional factor which many whiplash sufferers also cope with during the recovery period.

In addition to the pain and suffering award you can also claim “special damages” which cover aspects such as loss of earnings, car hire expenses, medical treatments, etc. If applicable these special damages factor into the final settlement award that you are likely to achieve.
