Making a claim

Those who do have whiplash and are wanting to take action should first establish whether or not they have the condition. Its onset may not occur immediately following the accident, though it should become apparent within 12 hours of the collision. Those intending to make a claim should note there is a limitation period by which time a claim should be made, so it has to be made within three years of the date the accident occurred.
